Bismark Cancer Center install an Elekta Synergy

Elekta Synergy has been designed to inspire clinical confidence via IGRT to practice advanced radiation therapy techniques. This combination of high resolution imaging, taken in 3D and at the time (the 4th dimension) of treatment combined with workflow solutions developed to be applicable on a routine basis is described as 4D Adaptive and is the Elekta® IGRT solution.
chalkbot
The Chalkbot takes input from text messages and Twitter posts sent by the public. The robot, a tractor-like device that’s pulled around by a truck, then paints those messages in large yellow letters along the Tour de France course.
The letters face the riders so they can read them on their journey during the grueling annual race, which ends July 26 in Paris.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length.
Relay for Life - Gwinnett
Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people to:
* Celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer. The strength of survivors inspires others to continue to fight.
* Remember loved ones lost to the disease. At Relay, people who have walked alongside people battling cancer can grieve and find healing.
